The application site is not located within a Conservation Area. It is a shame the application are proposing a different style of windows to those already installed in the property; however, Castlemona Avenue has a mix of window types and therefore the windows would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the street scene. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
