Officer's Report
Planning approval is sought for the erection of air conditioning extractor units at Anglo International House, Bank Hill, Douglas. The site is located within a Conservation Area, but is a relatively modern office building, constructed with a light well below pavement level in which it is proposed to erect the extractor units. As such, it is considered that the units will not be readily visible within the streetscene.
Douglas Corporation advise of no objection, and the Department of Transport Highways Division advise that they do not oppose the development.
It is recommended that the following parties are accorded Interested Party Status in accordance with Government Circular 1/06:
