The application site is not located in a Conservation Area and nor is it a Registered Building. The property currently has timber sliding sash windows. The proposal is to replace ground floor windows with sliding sash windows. I consider this would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the street scene. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
