Dear Mr Brooks
Re: Dolls House, 08/00210/B
I am the applicant and owner of the Dolls House. Thanks for meeting with Andrew Bentley, Ashley Pettit Architects, and my father on 28th January. Since then Mr Thornley has been very helpful dealing with some of my specific queries and he suggested I write to keep you informed about the progress of the building works and to beg the speediest possible decision to enable me to make our extension and existing house completely weather sealed.
The approved development to our house permitted back in February 2006 (05/01865/B) is nearly complete in that parts of the roof have been felted and the timber frame construction has been erected. The small amendments which are the subject of the application affect things like the windows, doors and rooflights. Especially given the lengthy manufacture time for windows, I hoped the decision on my 11th January application might be made this month to enable completion of the external aspects of the building before mid-April.
Might you be able to visit our house between 10th and 14th March, when I will be at home, to consider these issues and to minimise risk in respect of the planning decision?
Thanks in anticipation.
Please communicate with me in respect of this application as question 5 c) of my application was completed wrongly and I am going to try to deal with any issues arising, only calling on Ashley Pettit Architects if necessary.
Kind regards
