The application site forms the residential curtilage of Narradale West, Narradale, Sulby, which is a two storey detached property located on the western side of the lane.
Land Use Zoing / Planning Policy
The application site is within an area recognised as being an area of 'White Land', under the Isle of Man Development Plan Order 1982. The site is not within a Conservation Area, but is within an area zoned as High Landscape or Coastal Value and Scenic Significance.

ASSESSMENT / RECOMMENDATION
The proposed conservatory is a modest sized extension located to the rear of the property. Due to its siting and the orientation of the road with the dwelling the proposal will not be visible from the public highway. The proposal in design terms is also in keeping with the appearance of the existing property. For these reasons the proposal would be appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
