Dear Marie,

The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications: PA08/00148/B Janice Rhian Turnbull, Lhen View, Sulby Bridge, Sulby. Installation of replacement windows. Agreed – Unanimous.

PA08/00156/B Mr R Cleator & Ms. F. Herron, Glenduff Farm, Glen Duff. Conversion of existing barn into residential accommodation with driveway and entrance alterations.

Refused – Unanimous. The Commissioners would first like to say that they are all in agreement with the improvements to the Entrance Gateway. However the Commissioners have decided to Refuse the Application on the grounds that they do not feel that they have enough information on the future planning of the entire site. The Commissioners suspect that the development is intended for Holiday Accommodation and would like to see the overall plans which would enable them to make a proper judgment on this application.
