The Authority wish to express their interest in the following planning applications, and request that a condition of planning be that the applicant must contact the Authority to ensure that a connection is obtained for water supply purposes, or an amendment to the existing supply under the terms of the Water Supply Byelaws.
Notes:
Note (1) For connections that comprise more than a single connection to a water main or service, or where new water mains and hydrants will be required, the applicant should contact the loMWA Planning and Projects Section, tel. 695958.
Note (2) For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact loMWA Customer Services, tel. 695949 Note (3) For a change in the supply to a premises (domestic or commercial) the applicant should contact the loMWA Byelaws Inspector (Michael Karran), tel. 695957
Note (4) For connections to Flats and Apartments the following apply - "Water Supply To Flats And Apartments - Regulations", and if applicable a "Form Of Undertaking In Respect Of Supply Pipes" will be required. Copies of these documents can be obtained from the loMWA or alternatively by contacting the loMWA Byelaws Inspector (Michael Karran), tel. 695957
Note (5) A water main runs along the frontage of the property which may be susceptible to damage due to vehicles passing over it. The Applicant should contact the Water Authority to discuss protecting the main before construction work commences.
