Site The site represents the residential curtilage of Fairdale, Croit E Quill Road, Laxey, which is a single storey detached property, located on the western side of Croit E Quill Road.
Land Use Zoning The site has been zoned under the Laxey and Lonan Local Plan as being within an area of predominately residential use, the site is not within a Conservation Area.
Proposal The application seeks approval for alteration and installation of bay windows to the front elevation. Representations Lonan Parish Commissioners:- No objection We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / recommendation
The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no impact upon the residential amenity of the neighbouring properties, nor have an adverse impact upon the visual appearance of the street scene and/or upon the property itself.
For these reasons the proposal would be appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This approval relates to the installation of a bay window as proposed in the submitted documents and drawings 00348/1, 00348/2, 00348/3, 00348/4 and 00348/5 all received on 22nd February 2008.
C 3. The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
