The Application Site

The residential dwelling 27 Laury's Avenue, Ramsey, is located on the northern side of Laury's Avenue.

Planning Policy

The application site is within an area of predominately residential use under the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Ramsey Local Plan) (No. 2) Order 1998, hereafter referred to as the Ramsey Local Plan. The site is not within a Conservation Area.

Proposal

The application proposes to replace existing window with patio doors.

We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.

Assessment / Recommendation

The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no adverse impact upon the residential amenity of the neighbouring properties. For this reason the proposal would seem appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
