The proposal is to erect a smoking shelter within the car park of the site. The proposal is set some distance away from the front boundary. The proposal is not excessively large. I consider the proposal will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the street scene. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
