General Policy 2
GP2 permits development in line with residential zoning if it respects surroundings in siting, scale, design, amenity, parking, road safety, and avoids harm to landscape, wildlife, or views. The officer tested the garage conversion, first floor extension, and replacement garage against these criteria, finding them acceptable as in-keeping with the dwelling, no adverse neighbour impact, adequate parking retained, and no consultee concerns raised.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
