Environment Policy 19
Makes provision for equestrian activities within the countryside where this will not result in the loss of valuable agricultural land. The officer assessed the proposal uses land too small for viable agriculture but suitable for horses without loss of agricultural value.

Requires development associated with equestrian activities to not have an adverse visual impact. The low height, purpose design, and finishes were found acceptable with no adverse visual impact.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved plans
This permission relates to the use of the area edged blue for agricultural use and/or for the keeping and grazing of horses and to the erection of a stable building as shown in drawings 32368/03, -04 and -05 all received on 26th November, 2007.
Materials approval
All finishes - walling and roof - must be dark brown and dark green.
Use restriction
The stable building may only be used for the keeping of horses and associated equipment and feed and all in association with the occupation of Little Gibdale - the building with permission for reinstatement as a dwelling - shown as within the area edged blue. The stables may not be sold or let separately.
Do not oppose subject to the stable block being for private use only, and ancillary to 'Little Gibdale'
