Officer's Report
The Application Site
The application site forms the curtilage of 2 Barrule Park, Ramsey. The site comprises of a single storey detached dwelling located on the north-western side of Barrule Park.
Planning Policy
The application site is within an area of residential under the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Ramsey Local Plan) (No. 2) Order 1998, hereafter referred to as the Ramsey Local Plan. The site is not within a Conservation Area.
Proposal
The application proposes the installation of patio doors to front elevation.
Representations
Ramsey Commissioners:- No objection
We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / Recommendation
The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no adverse impact upon the neighbouring residential amenity or upon the visual appearance of the street scene.
For these reasons the proposals would seem appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation is for a refusal.
