This property is not within a Conservation Area and nor is it a Registered Building. The proposal is to replace the existing side windows with uPVC casements. There are other properties with uPVC windows in the vicinity of the application site. I consider the proposal to be acceptable and would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the street scene. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
