In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 6th March 2008, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- This approval is in principle only and will remain valid for a period of two years within which time no development may take place until such time as details of the reserved matters (siting, design, external appearance, internal layout, means of access, landscaping) have been approved by the Planning Authority. Such reserved matters should form the subject of a single application.
- This approval relates to the barn conversion as proposed in the submitted documents which are date-stamped 24th October 2007 and 14th February 2008.
- The application for reserved matters must include a report to demonstrate that the applicant has carried out an investigation to see if the water wheel and any internal
machinery and/or apparatus relevant to the original use of the building can be retained as part of the new use.
NOTE For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, tel. 69 59 49.
NOTE The Applicant is recommended to contact the Manx Electricity Authority Planning Department (Tel. 687781), to discuss the electricity supply for this application. ☑
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.

This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
