In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you on behalf of: Mr K Hayes

which was considered on 16 August 2002, subject to the compliance with the conditions or modifications specified on the attached schedule.

Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.

- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.

- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- All new rooflights must be of heritage/conservation design with a single vertical glazing bar.
- The east elevation must be finished in lime or sand/cement render which follows the contours of the masonry beneath to allow a soft finish.
- The proposed tourist accommodation must be used only by bona fide tourists only between March and September (inclusive) with no letting period to exceed 4 weeks. The barn may be occupied between October and February for longer lets.
- All new windows must be timber framed.
- The roof must be finished in natural slate.
NOTE The responsibility for the shared septic tank remains with the landowner.
