The site represents the curtilage of the detached dwelling 1 Ballachrink Colby. The property is located at the entrance to the cul-de-sac on the eastern side.
Planning Status
The site is located within an area identified as being Predominantly Residential Use by the Arbory and East Rushen Local Plan 1998.
Planning History
Planning application 94/01532/B sought permission to extend the dwelling to create additional living accommodation. This was permitted 24th March 1995.
Representations
Arbory Parish Commissioners indicate no objection to this application. The Department of Transport Highways Division does not oppose this application.
We have received no privately written representations in relation to this planning application.
The Proposal
Proposed here is the replacement of a ground floor window located on the south-east elevation of the property with double doors.
Assessment
The south-east elevation of the property does not overlook any neighbouring properties and the proposed doors would be in-keeping with the existing property. It is therefore recommended that this application be approved.
