The Application Site
The Ballaugh School, Station Road, Ballaugh is a large single storey detached property which is located on the western side of the Station Road.
Planning Policy
The application site is within an area of primary school use under the Isle of Man Development Plan Order 1982. The site is not within a Conservation Area.
Proposal
The application proposes the construction of access ramps and steps.
Representations
Ballaugh Parish Commissioners:- No objection
We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / Recommendation
The proposal will complete accessibility for the entrances and exits for the whole school complex, which should be encouraged. The proposals would be appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation for an approval.
