All windows to new habitable rooms to be fitted with min 8000mm2 trickle vents, all other windows to have min 4000mm2 vents. All new openings to have min 25mm check reveal for severe weather exposure. SAFETY GLAZING Glazing less than 800mm above finished floor level in windows, 1500mm above finished floor level in doors and within 300mm to side of doors to be fitted with safety glass to bs 6206. safety glazing to be included for all internal glazed doors and side frames. HEATING Provide and install new radiators to proposed Extension. Radiators to be linked to existing heating system and fitted with thermostatic valve sets. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION New electrical installation work to be carried out by suitably qualified electrician & in accordance with the requirements of Approved Document P New light fittings to be energy efficient in accordance with Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide. MECHANICAL VENTILATION Provide mechanical ventilation to Utility and bathroom to provide min 30ltr & 15ltrs / second extract rate respectively.
