Dear Sir/Madam
RE: PA 07/00798 WIDENING OF ACCESS ONTO HIGHWAY 12 SUNNINGDALE DRIVE ONCHAN
With regard to the above application to enable Mr and Mrs Colquitt provide off-road parking facilities, I wish to advise that the entire boundary between the properties of 10 and 12 Sunningdale Drive has been in dispute for several years, with the applicants previously having taken matters to Court and their Petition being unsuccessful.
Having gained permission from other neighbours to change the course of the boundary, the applicants seek to continue this altered alignment across the entire boundary of my property, to which I am not in agreement.
As the dispute is still on-going with all parties having legal representation, I wish to raise an objection on such a basis, as to widen the access onto the highway, thus facilitating off-road parking facilities, would involve works abutting the entire boundary across my property and it is of some concern as to the proposed alignment in the absence of an agreed boundary.
Whilst I appreciate that land ownership is not a planning matter, in the event that planning approval be granted, I request that a note be attached advising the applicants that the planning permission does not authorise them to undertake any work on, over or under land that does not belong to them.
Yours faithfully
PATRICIA BELL
