In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 10th May 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Note: if the additional internal head height can be proved to be of paramount importance to the restoration and use of the building it may be beneficial to alter the format of the extension roof, so that it is a gable with ridge running back into the main body of the mill. This is a traditional format of roof that can be found all over the Island.
NOTE Prior to the submission of an application for the reserved matters, the applicant is advised to consult the Department of Transport under the provisions of the Land Drainage Act 1934 (section 35) and the Inland Fisheries Section of Department of Agricultural Fisheries and Forestry in respect of any works undertaken close to or within the watercourse.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
No development may be undertaken until such time as the relevant reserved matters have been approved by the Planning Authority.
