Planning Policy

Proposal
The application proposes the installation of uPVC windows to replace existing timber windows. The existing windows are timber sliding sash the replacements would be uPVC sliding sash windows with the Georgian Bar configuration.
Representations
Ballaugh Parish Commissioners advise that they have no objection
We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / Recommendation
The installation of the uPVC sliding sash windows is acceptable as it would not cause any adverse visual impacts to the detriment of the surrounding area or to the property itself. For this reason the windows would be appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
