Proposed House Ballalaa Dalby
Proposed House at Ballalaa, Dalby
The application by Mr and Mrs Clague is for a dwelling for their son on land at Ballalaa, Dalby.
Mr Clague farms from Ballalaa and his son works with him full time on the farm. Between them they farm some 430 acres. Of this acreage 160 acres around Ballalaa is owned and the balance is tenanted. Some of the tenanted land is at Ballaquane and Ballalonna adjoining Ballalaa. The remainder of the tenanted land is at a number of locations including Santon, Cronk-y-voddy, Glen Maye and Niarbyl. The owned land at Ballalaa is outlined in red on the plan submitted with the application, the adjacent tenanted land is outlined in blue on that plan.
Discussions were held on site with the Planning Officer. Following these, the proposals have been developed for a single storey three bedroomed dwelling, on part of the field identified and accessed off the farm road, all as discussed on site.
