No rebuilding implied
This approval relates to the conversion of the existing stone building. No approval is hereby granted or implied for the re-building of the structure should it subsequently be found to be unstable or unsound. Any re-building works unless otherwise detailed in the application will require to be the subject of a further planning application.
Ancillary use only
The building hereby approved may be used as an art/craft studio in association with the main dwelling (Ardwhallin Barn) only.
Roof materials
The roof(s) must be finished in dark natural slate.
Retain stonework
All existing stonework must be retained as such and must not be rendered, painted or similarly treated.

The Society will support it providing some protection is written into the permission such as 'all to be retained or conserved structure must be secured, stabilized, propped or supported in such a manner as to ensure against collapse and, that if any significant areas of the to be converted structure, do collapse, the Permission thereby becomes null and void and no further work will be authorized.'
