Officer's Report
The proposed works are to the rear of the property and will not be visible from the public highway of Woodlands Avenue and will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. The works will not adversely affect the residential amenity of the adjoining properties. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted permission.
Party Status.
Whilst IoM Fire and Rescue Service represents a statutory authority, the points raised in correspondence relate to Building Control matters and not planning and as such should not be afforded party status in this instance.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This permission relates to the alterations, erection of a pitched roof over existing summerhouse and installation of a solar panel as shown in drawing numbers 01, 02, and 03 date stamped 10th November 2006.
C 3. No facing and roofing materials shall be used other than materials similar to those used on the existing building.
N 1. The Chief Fire Officer recommends the installation of mains wired interconnected domestic smoke detection.
