The proposal sought permission for the Isle of Man Schoolboy Motocross Club to hold six additional organised motocross events (three summer weekends, Sat/Sun) on scrubland at Cronk Y Cliwe adjacent to Ballagarraghyn, Coast Road, Jurby, increasing total annual events from an established 4-7 to 13.

Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved plans
This approval relates to the submitted documents and drawing 01718/1 all received on 6th October 2006.
Total events limit
This permission relates to the holding of a total of 13 days (events) for motorbike activity in any 12 month period.
Temporary permission
The approval hereby granted for the additional six motocross events, is limited to a period of 12 months from the date of this notice, after which time if approval has not been granted for a further period, the use for the six additional motocross events must be discontinued.
Event notification
Prior to the holding of the first motocross event the applicant must provide details of the dates and times of events to the Planning Authority in order that the Department's Environmental Protection Officer may arrange to monitor the site during these periods.
Operating hours
The motocross events (including practice) may only take place between 1700hrs and 2030hrs on Saturdays and between 1100hrs and 1500hrs on Sundays. For clarification, no approval is granted for the holding of any events on any weekday including a Bank or Public holiday.
Traffic management
Prior to holding the first motocross event, the applicant must submit to the Planning Authority for consideration and approval, a traffic management and access method statement. Such a statement to be prepared following consultation with the Department of Transport Highways Division.
Ecology survey
Prior to holding the first motor cross event, the applicant must undertake a survey of the site to determine whether Marsh Orchids which are protected under the Wildlife Act 1990 and/or Schedule 1 Birds are nesting on the site. If found, the Applicant is required to consult the Conservation Office at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to seek advice hereon. Such a survey must be submitted for consideration and approval by the Planning Authority.
Event definition
For the avoidance of doubt, an 'event' is defined as one day.
Disability access
The applicant is advised to consult Disability Access Office with regard to the needs of disabled users within the site.
