Officer's Report
The application site is located within a are zoned as predominantly shopping. The proposed signs are currently being displayed on the site. The advertisements are not excessive in size and projection. I consider continued display of the advertisement would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the street scene.
Party Status
The Department of Transport, by virtue of the The Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005, Regulation 9 (4) and (5), considered "interested persons" and as such should be afforded party status.
The Disability Access Office do not raise any material comment in relation to public safety or amenity. I therefore consider that interested party states should not be granted to them.
