Officer's Report

The proposed building is being relocated from another site within the Borough to Ballaughton Nurseries. The site is well screened from existing trees and hedges. The building is not visible from the public highway. Similar buildings exist within the complex. The proposed building would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the erection of a steel portal framed building as shown in drawing numbers BEN/06/008/1001, BEN/06/008/1002 and photographs date stamped 14th July 2006.

C 3. The building shall only be used for the storage of plant and machinery.

N 1. You are advised to consult the Fire Safety Department on fire safety measures within the building.
