In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act, Order and Regulations the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Braddan Parish Commissioners Proposal: Replace existing front timber doors with matching pattern aluminium doors (In association with 06/00412/GB) at: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 Cronkbourne Village Cronkbourne Braddan Isle Of Man IM4 4QG
which was considered on 21 July 2006, for the reasons set out below.

Reasons For Refusal:
- The proposed doors, by reason of their design and material of construction, are considered to be inappropriate given the Registered Status of the property, and would result in a poorly executed alteration, to the detriment of the appearance of the properties.
This decision notice is issued in accordance with Regulation 9(1) of the Registered Building Regulations 2005.
The decision contained in this notice does not become final until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

If this determination is running concurrently with a planning application the content of the registered building application is excluded from that consideration. If need be an appeal against the determination of registered building consent must be made independently.
