The application site is within the Laxey Conservation Area.
Assessment
The proposed signage was discussed with Steve Moore, Building Conservation Officer, prior to the submission of the application. He is satisfied that the signage is acceptable within the Conservation Area.
I consider the overall level of development contained within the proposal to be relatively modest and to be without adverse impact on public, private or visual amenity.
I recommend that the application be approved.
