Statutory Consultation Responses
- German Parish Commissioners – No comments received
Public Responses
- Press notice were posted on 8/12/05
- Disability Access Office has commented – Measurement and any other information for ramps and steps can be obtained from the disabilities access office.
Issues
- In respect of the impact on the street scene, the proposed development will be set behind the existing school buildings. These buildings will obscure the proposed development and will not be visible from the public highway of the A1. I do not consider the proposed development will cause any significant impact on the visual amenities of the locality.
- The proposal also includes two disabled ramps set within recessing on the front of the building. The raise to the level of the door is relatively minor. I consider the work to be de minimis and would not require planning permission.
Conclusion
I therefore recommend that permission be granted subject to conditions in the attached schedule.
