In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Colby A.F.C Ltd Proposal: Approval in principle for the creation of football training ground with associated facilities at: Field 421449 Off Main Road Colby Isle Of Man
which was considered on 25 May 2006, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Note: the applicant must demonstrate in the application for reserved matters that the proposed car parking provision is adequate to satisfactorily accommodate the vehicles which will be generated from the proposed facilities.
The applicant has suggested that lighting is unlikely to be illuminated beyond 9pm on any evening. The application for reserved matters must address the operating periods as well as the location of any lighting required for the proposed facilities.
NOTE: A Drainage Connection Fee will be payable to the Drainage Authority on this development
The applicant is advised to discuss the drainage of the site with the Drainage Division of Department of Transport prior to the submission of the application for reserved matters.
The advice of the Disability Access Officer and the Sports Officer for Disabled Athletes at the National Sports Centre is recommended in this respect.
NOTE For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, telephone 695949.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

You should note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision being made, along with any correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
No development June be undertaken until such time as the relevant reserved matters have been approved by the Planning Authority.
