Officer's Report
The application site is set in a predominantly residential area. To the rear of the site is open countryside (designated for residential development). There are no public footpaths in the vicinity of the rear of the applications. The proposal will be visible from the surrounding countryside, as there is very little landscaping along the rear boundary of the application site. On balance, I consider the design of the proposed works to be acceptable and would not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality.
The conservatory is set a significant distance from the boundary of 7 Mull View. There is a some landscaping running along the boundary which will also act as a barrier. I do not feel the proposal would cause any significant impact from overlooking to the occupiers of No.7 Mull View.
