Highways Drainage Comments:
The proposed new driveway would fall toward the public highway and no drainage arrangements have been
shown that would intercept surface water runoff from it before it drained onto the highway. This would
contravene Section 58 of the Highway Act 1986 and guidance contained in Chapter 16.2.4 of the Manual for
Manx Roads.
Recommendation: Additional information required with regard to the private drainage arrangements for the
new driveway.
