Officer's Report
The application proposes installation of uPVC first floor casement windows to replace the existing windows to the rear elevation of 18 Albert Street, which is part of a row of terraced properties within a Conservation Area.
The Douglas Corporation have considered the application and have no objections. We have received no private representations for this application.
The proposal would seem appropriate in these locations, although the property is in a Conservation Area the rear elevation is only of limited interest as it is only seen from the back lane, the proposal would seem acceptable. My recommendation is therefore an approval.
