Officer's Report
The application is for a retrospective application for the installation of uPVC casement windows and door on front elevation of 8 Peveril Terrace, Douglas, which is part of a row of terraced properties within a residential area. The property is not within a Conservation Area.
The windows that have been installed are uPVC top casement white windows, one at ground floor level and one a first floor level. The replacement door which also has been installed is a uPVC white door and frame.
The Douglas Corporation and Department of Transport have considered the application and have no objection. We have received no private representations for this application.
The retrospective application would seem acceptable in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
