Details of existing windows.

All the windows in the rear and side are all tradition box frames with sliding sashes except those that have rotted over the years and have been replaced by soft-wood timber frames with a top-hung sash. Examples of these can be seen on the first floor and are clearly shown in photographs marked ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’; also shown in these three photographs is an individual horizontal rail where the three existing box-frame windows have been removed for safety reasons as they had extensively rotted away.

The front elevation, as shown in photograph marked ‘F’ are all aluminium sliding sashes – except the bay which has two horizontal sliding sashes. This bay window will be replaced with the same configuration as now exists.

Details of proposed windows to front elevation; Top Floor Front: It is proposed to replace these two top floor windows with a ‘half-round head’ and a bottom opening casement. Window marked ‘Q’ in the enclosed leaflet

Second Floor Front: it is proposed to replace these two second floor windows with ‘Sliding Sash’ with an arched head marked ‘P’ in the enclosed leaflet.

First Floor Front: it is proposed to replace this one window adjacent to the existing bay window with ‘Sliding Sash’ marked ‘B’ in the enclosed leaflet.

Top Floor Rear as shown in photographs ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ consecutively are to be replaced with ‘Sliding Sash’ marked ‘B’ in the enclosed leaflet.

Second Floor Rear as shown in photographs ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ consecutively are to be replaced with ‘Tilt & Turn’

First Floor Rear as shown in photographs ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ consecutively, two are to be replaced with ‘French Doors’ subject to planning permission for the renovation of existing balcony, whilst the other ‘loo window’ will be replaced with ‘Tilt & Turn’

The photograph marked ‘E’ ‘Rear Elevation Gable Return’ is to be replace with French doors subject to the renovation of the balcony. The two existing box-frame windows directly above this ‘E’ window are to be replaced with ‘Tilt & Turn’ windows.
