Officer's Report
The application site is Bride Primary School situated on the western side of the A16 within Bride. The proposal includes the removal of the existing railings and lower the existing wall and then to erect new railings along the front boundary wall. The proposal does include erecting a new section of railings to the front boundary wall. Sections of the railings will be higher the existing wall. However, due to the level changes the railing will be stepped. I feel this will reduce the visual impact of proposal within the street scene. The railings will be colour coated. I therefore consider the proposal will not cause any significant harm to the visual amenities of the locality and recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
