Fax: (01624) 685875 The plans deposited have been examined and passed by the Department as complying with the Building Regulations 1993.
The passing of plans operates for the purposes of the requirements of the Building Regulations 1993 and of any section of the Building Control Act 1991 which expressly requires the Department to pass plans.
It is not an approval under the Town and Country Planning Acts or for any other statutory provision. Under the requirements of the Building Regulations 1993 you are required to notify the Department of those stages of work indicated on page 2 of the accompanying Notification Cards.
If work is not commenced within three years from the deposit of the plans the Department may declare that the Deposit of Plans is of no effect under the provisions of Section 15 of the Building Control Act 1991.
Please note that an Inspection fee of £258.00 is payable, which should accompany “The Notice of Commencement of Building Works”.

NOTE The applicant is advised to consult the Fire Prevention Officer with regard to compliance with the Fire Precautions (Flats) Regulations 1996.
NOTE The applicant is advised to consult the Department of Transport with regard to construction of the footway crossing and obtaining a permit for working in the highway.
NOTE The Disability Access Office requests that any alterations maintain or improve disabled access to the premises.
NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
Any review request must be in writing, addressed to the Secretary of the Planning Committee, Murray House, Mount Havelock, Douglas.

the Planning Committee must accept the request for a review.
IT IS IMPORTANT, if you feel you should be accepted as having sufficient interest, that you inform the Planning Committee of:-
a) the relationship between your land or building(s) and the land that is the subject of the application; and b) how you would be affected by the subject matter of the decision.

That it intends to review their decision after a period of 21 days from the date of that letter.
