Officer's Report
The application is for the installation of a front door & uPVC windows to replace the existing front and rear elevations at 36 Allan Street, which is part of a row of terraces. The property is not in a Conservation Area nor is it a Registered Building.
The windows that are proposed are the same design as the existing windows. Neighbouring properties (25, 23, 24, 34 & 40 Allan Street) along the road have also recently had applications for new uPVC windows to be installed which were permitted.
The Douglas Corporation have no objection to the allocation. There are no objections.
The proposed windows and door, would seem appropriate in this location as they match the existing style of the property, and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
