Officer's Report

The proposal is for a rear extension to replace the existing timber lean to. The property 2 Brookfield Little Mill Road, which is part of a pair of semi detached properties in a rural area.

The proposed extension has a rear projection of 1 metre from the existing rear wall of the dwelling and a width of 3.1 metres. The neighbouring property 1 Little Mill Road has benefited from a single storey rear extension which can be since in the Site Plan.

Onchan District Commissioners have recommended that the application be approved. There are no objections from any of the surrounding neighbours in the area.

The proposal would seem appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
