Officer's Report
The site represents the curtilage of Bank House, a property on the corner of Bank Street and the Quay within Castletown's Conservation Area. the property has recently been converted to a furnishings shop with a sign which has been erected without planning permission - enforcement action has been instigated and an application should be submitted shortly. I think there is residential accommodation also within what is a sizeable property.
Proposed now is the installation of a satellite dish on the rear of the property. This will be black and of 43cm diameter and hidden from almost all views of the property.
