Officer's Report

The application seeks retrospective approval for two signs in the centre of Laxey. The signs commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Laxey Wheel.

Laxey Village Commissioners support the application and SPMCE object to it. I consider the signs to be reasonably acceptable and recommend approval subject to a time limited approval of five years in order to ensure that any untidy remains are removed.
