The bylaws regulate the erection of hoardings and display of advertisements. The committee assessed the proposal for internally illuminated box signage replacing existing signs on a retail building and found it compliant, permitting it subject to standard conditions on maintenance, safety, non-obstruction of traffic signs, and approved drawings.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Maintenance - clean and tidy
Any advertisements displayed and any land used for the display of advertisements shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
Maintenance - safe condition
Any hoarding or similar structure or any sign, placard, board or device erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
Non-obstruction of traffic signs
Any advertisement hoarding shall not be sited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or signal for the control of safety of navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway or airfield.
Landowner permission
Before any advertisement is sited or displayed on any land, the permission of the owner of the land, or a person entitled to grant such permission, shall be obtained.

This approval relates to drawings numbered 05-095-A-1AA, -11AA, and -12AB and date-stamped 21st July 2005.
