Officer's Report
The site represents part of the gardens surrounding Castle Rushen. Proposed is the erection of a statue of Captain Quilliam set on a plinth approximately 4ft high, the whole statue being no higher than 8ft. The statue will be cast in bronze and the plinth concrete with bronze plaque on the outer face.
The site belongs to MNH who will respond with their comments after 8th September. They have now confirmed that they are happy with the proposal.
This will be an interesting addition to the castle.
