See also applications for the installation of a satellite dish (05/1075) and change of use from a (furniture) shop to a betting shop (05/1074), both recommended for approval although the change of use is subject to two expressions of concern, both connected to the fact that this would mean that a second betting shop would result in the village (although the application is actually for the applicant to relocate from their present location 3 doors up).
This application proposes the installation of signage in the form of frosting on the window fronting onto Church Street stating "Island Bet bookmakers". The adjacent "Hollywood Stars" signage is fairly bright and by comparison this proposed signage is not unacceptable.
