Officer's Report
The application site is situated on York Road. The site is within a predominantly residential area. The site is not within a Conservation Area nor is it a registered building. The windows on the front elevation of the property have been altered to white uPVC windows. The proposed replacement door would not look out of character with the rest of the property.
This proposal would also alter the windows and doors to the rear of the property. The proposed windows would in effect match the other uPVC windows those already installed on the property.
To the side of the property is a private access road, the windows and doors at the rear will not be visible from the access road due to a 3m high boundary wall. I do not feel the proposal would cause demonstrable harm to the visual amenities of the area.
