Officer's Report

The application site is within the Selbourne Drive Conservation Area.

The proposal is to install uPVC windows to replace the existing. The windows for the property are of the same method of opening, pattern and section of glazing bars as the existing. This accords with Planning Circular 1/98. There are other uPVC windows in the street scene. I consider this proposal will retain the character and appearance of the property unlike some some windows in the street. I therefore feel the proposal will have a neutral effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.
