Widening of vehicular access. b) 21/00816/B Ballastewart Ballakilpheric Road. Alterations and erection of 2 storey extension. c) 21/00798/B Field 410891, Adj To Victoria Lodge West View Surby Road. Alterations and erection of a single storey extension and detached garage with roof mounted solar panels. h) 21/00791/B Orchard House 3 Strawberry Fields Croit E Caley. Erection of single storey extension to rear of property.
In relation to application 21/00860/B the Commissioners were generally supportive but felt that a condition should be placed if the application is approved that this building can not to be designated for residential or tourist purposes in any future application. i) 21/00860/B Barn At Lower Ballayack Earystane. Alterations and replacement of corrugated iron roof with tiles (retrospective).
In relation to application 21/00857/B the Commissioners had a number of concerns. The Commissioners note that the application is for a site not designated for residential use. They also note that there would be limited space for parking off the main road and would ask for a strongly worded condition that garage should not be converted to residential use should the application be supported. The Commissioners also noted that much of the traffic using the main road travels in excess of the 40 mph speed limit and wondered whether this had been considered by the DoI Highways officer when they wrote their supportive comments. The Commissioners are not fundamentally opposed to the proposal but do feel that it needs careful consideration particularly in relation to the points they have raised. j) 21/00857/B Pound Lane Depot Castletown Road. Erection of a dwelling.
