In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 26 August 2005, for the reasons set out below.

Reasons For Refusal:

1. The proposed extension would by reason of its design, height and extent of projection would cause demonstrable harm to the occupiers of No.34 Ashberry Avenue from visual intrusion.

NOTE The applicant is encouraged to consider a slight increase in height of the roof of the garage so as to allow a pitched roof dormer to be installed on the front and rear elevations.

NOTE This review has been considered by the Planning Committee on written evidence. Any additional submissions not previously circulated to interested parties are enclosed herewith.

• the time for requesting an appeal in relation to any decision at review has expired; or
• any appeal has been completed.
